Privacy Notice

Springdale Industries LLC (“Springdale Industries”, “we”) uses this service to receive financial reports from a business that is in discussions with us about a potential acquisition or investment. If you were sent a link to this site, someone at Springdale Industries asked you to share your company financials so our team can review them. This notice explains exactly what we access, how long we keep it, and how it is protected.

Eagle Security Alliance, LLC is an affiliate of Springdale Industries LLC, which operates this service.

What we access

When you connect your QuickBooks company, whether QuickBooks Online or QuickBooks Desktop, you authorize us to read a fixed set of accounting reports for that company:

• Profit and loss statement, by month
• Balance sheet, by month
• Accounts receivable aging detail, at a set of historical dates
• Accounts payable aging detail, at those same dates
• General ledger transaction detail

We also read your company name, company ID, accounting preferences, and fiscal year settings so the reports can be labeled correctly. We record the IP address of the request that started the connection, for a short period, to protect the service from abuse.

QuickBooks Desktop only. Before you connect, we ask for your company name and your email address. We use them to set up your connection and to make sure the same company is not connected twice. We keep your email address only in a scrambled, one-way form that cannot be turned back into the address; the address itself is held by our connection provider, Conductor, as part of your connection record and is deleted with it. The setup also asks you to create a password for the QuickBooks Web Connector. That password is held by Conductor and never reaches our systems.

What we do not do

• We never write to your books. The part of our system that talks to QuickBooks can only issue read requests. It has no ability to create, change, or delete anything in your QuickBooks company. Neither QuickBooks Online nor the QuickBooks Web Connector offers a view-only permission, so their authorization screens will describe broader access than we use; the read-only limit is enforced in how our software is built.
• We do not sell, rent, or license your information to anyone.
• We do not use it for advertising, marketing lists, or profiling.
• We do not share it with anyone outside Springdale Industries, its acquisition team, and the service providers listed below.
• We do not access payroll records, bank credentials, or customer payment details. On QuickBooks Desktop we never request access to personal data such as Social Security or tax identification numbers, and you should leave that option unchecked if QuickBooks offers it during setup.

How long we keep it

This is a one-time snapshot, not an ongoing connection. After your reports are delivered to our acquisitions team:

• Your QuickBooks authorization is revoked automatically, normally within minutes. Our access ends at that point and does not resume unless you click a new link. For QuickBooks Online we revoke the authorization with Intuit. For QuickBooks Desktop we delete your connection record at Conductor, which permanently disables the Web Connector entry on your computer; you can then remove that entry yourself (see Your choices).
• Working copies of your reports that we hold while a transfer is in progress are deleted as soon as the report file is assembled, and in all cases no later than 7 days after the pull.
• The stored copy of your report file is deleted once delivered, and in all cases no later than 7 days after the pull.
• We retain a record of the transfer itself (company name, company ID, timestamps, row counts, and success or failure) as an operational audit trail. That record contains no financial figures.
• The reports delivered to our acquisitions team are retained by Springdale Industries as part of its evaluation of the potential transaction, under any confidentiality agreement between us.

How it is protected

• All data is transmitted over encrypted connections (TLS).
• For QuickBooks Online, your access credentials are encrypted before storage using AES-256-GCM, with the encryption key held separately from the database. For QuickBooks Desktop, we hold no credentials at all: the connection is authenticated by Conductor, and our systems store only a connection identifier.
• Report files are stored in private storage that is not publicly reachable and is accessible only to this application.
• Financial content is never written to our application logs or to third-party job-history systems.
• Access to the underlying systems is limited to Springdale Industries technology staff who administer this service.

Service providers

We use the following providers to operate this service. Each processes only what its function requires:

• Intuit (QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop): the source of the reports, and for QuickBooks Online the provider of the authorization screen.
• Conductor (conductor.is): for QuickBooks Desktop only, operates the secure connection between our software and the QuickBooks Web Connector on your computer, and provides the setup screens. Conductor receives the company name and email address you enter, holds the Web Connector password you create, and relays your reports from your computer to us. Your connection record at Conductor is deleted automatically once your reports are delivered.
• Vercel: hosts the website and the software that performs the transfer.
• Supabase: database and private file storage for the report file and the transfer record.
• Inngest: coordinates and retries the transfer job. It receives identifiers, timestamps, and counts only, never financial content.
• Resend: delivers the report by email to our acquisitions team.
• Slack: receives internal failure notifications containing the company name, an error code, and identifiers only, never financial content.

Your choices

• You can decline. If you close the authorization screen or the Desktop setup steps without finishing them, nothing is connected and no data is shared.
• QuickBooks Online: you can disconnect at any time from QuickBooks itself, under Settings, then Manage Apps or Connected Apps, without contacting us.
• QuickBooks Desktop: you can disconnect at any time by removing the Conductor entry in the QuickBooks Web Connector, or in QuickBooks under Edit, Preferences, Integrated Applications, Company Preferences, without contacting us.
• You can ask us to delete the reports we received. Contact us using the address below and we will confirm what was deleted.
